Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions (戯☆王 THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS) is a Japanese animated film directed by Satoshi Kuwabara. The film was released in Japan on April 23, 2016 and in Canada and the United States on January 27, 2017.
The film was created to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! manga by original author Kazuki Takahashi. Unlike the first film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, this film is canonical with the original series, taking place a few months after the end of the original anime.

- Tara Sands returns to the role of Mokuba. Sands moved to Los Angeles during the production of the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, and was replaced with Carrie Keranen for the remainder of the series.
- Many of the uncredited incidental voices are provided by winners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS Voiceover Contests held at the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME World Championship held in Orlando, Florida and Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as New York Comic Con.[1]
- Originally, Anchor Bay Entertainment was going to distribute the DVD release in the United States, but during the time of the film's release, Lionsgate Films purchased the company's owner, Starz Media, and folded Anchor Bay, thus resulting in Lionsgate distributing the DVD instead.
- One of the rare times on which Konami Cross Media decides to release it containing the original Japanese sub version.
