World Trigger (ワールドトリガー Wārudo Torigā ) is anime television series adaptation produced by Toei Animation. The first season was broadcast on TV Asahi from October 2014 to April 2016.

Synopsis

A gate to another dimension has burst open, and from it emerge gigantic invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth's only defense is a mysterious group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back!

Notes

  • Episodes 49-63 were not dubbed. They consist of the standalone "Fugitive Arc" storyline created specifically for the anime series. The dub resumed with episode 64. As a result, the English version are in separate discs from the Japanese version in the Blu-ray set for the series.
  • Texas-based voice actor Ian Sinclair will be in the second season.[1]
