Synopsis

Morihito Otogi only wanted a quiet life. As a descendant of a powerful ogre bloodline, he’s not out to stand out—just survive high school without drawing attention. But his plans go straight into the cauldron when his explosive childhood friend, Niko Wakatsuki, reappears. A witch-in-training as gifted as she is chaotic, she chooses him as her magical familiar—whether he likes it or not. Now, he must protect her with his strength… and, to make things worse, live under the same roof. The result? A bizarre coexistence, spells spiraling out of control, and a charming mess. Between exploding potions, miscast spells, and creatures that shouldn’t even exist, Morihito will do everything he can to protect her—or at least protect himself from the disaster that is living with her. Yet, there’s one thing even magic can’t hide: a childhood crush Niko never managed to bury… and one that’s only grown stronger. With laughter, magical duels, and a heart racing faster than a runaway broomstick, this mismatched duo will learn that sometimes, the most dangerous spell… is falling in love.
