UFO Robot Grendizer (UFOロボ グレンダイザー, Yūfō Robo Gurendaizā), known as Grandizer in the United States, is a super robot anime series by Toei Animation based on the manga of the same name by Go Nagai. It aired on Fuji TV from October 5, 1975, to February 27, 1977, with a total of 74 episodes.
The titular robot first appeared in the United States through the Shogun Warriors line by Mattel as a collectible diecast figure. Due to the line's popularity, Jim Terry included the anime series in his syndicated Force Five package along with other Shogun Warriors mainstays. Before Jim Terry's syndicated English dub, there was another that aired exclusively in the Philippines as Grendaizer.
