Twelve Months (世界名作童話 森は生きている Sekai Meisaku Dōwa Mori wa Ikiteiru) is a 1980 anime feature film directed by Yugo Serikawa, Kimio Yabuki and Tetsuo Imazawa, produced by Toei Animation in Japan in partnership with Soyuzmultfilm in the Soviet Union. It was based on the fairy tale of the same name written by Samuil Marshak.
Synopsis
A Queen wants a flower called Galanthus for her New Year's Eve party. But the flower only blossoms in April. Anya, a poor orphaned girl, finds the Spirits of the Twelve Months and asks them for an hour of spring, so she can find the flower. But her stepmother and her evil daughter get envious of the girl's success.
