Trese is a Philippine anime-influenced streaming television series based on the Filipino komik series of the same name by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo. Produced by BASE Entertainment, the series was released on June 10, 2021 on Netflix in the United States, which was followed by a global release the next day on June 11.

Synopsis

Set in Manila where the mythical creatures of Philippine folklore live in hiding amongst humans, Alexandra Trese finds herself going head to head with a criminal underworld comprised of malevolent supernatural beings.
