Transformers: Energon, originally known in Japan as Transformers: SuperLink (トランスフォーマー スーパーリンク Toransufōmā Sūpārinku) is a series created by Hasbro and Takara Tomy. It is a continuation of the Transformers: Armada and is set 10 years later. Traditional animation continues to be used, but is combined with CGI to give more 'high-tech' realism to the robots.
