Pre-registration for the game began on June 1, 2023.

- None of the voice cast from the anime reprise their roles in this game as according to Laura Post, Crunchyroll actively blocked her and her fellow Tower of God dub voice actors from reprising their roles for the series’ mobile game.
- Oddly enough, unlike the dub of the first season of Tower of God, the dub of New World is a unionized dub due to the appearance of union-only voice actors Josh Keaton and Mara Junot. Season 2 of Tower of God would later be unionized when it was released on July 7th, 2023.
