The True Story of Puss 'N Boots (La Véritable Histoire du chat botté) (also known as The True History of Puss 'N Boots) is a 2009 French-Belgian-Swiss animated film directed by Jérôme Deschamps, Pascal Herold and Macha Makeïeff. It is based on Charles Perrault's story "Puss in Boots" about a cat who talks and walks on his hind legs while wearing magical boots.

An English dub of the film was recorded in Montreal in 2010. A slightly alternate dub featuring William Shatner in the title role was recorded for the US in 2011.

Notes[]

  • The US end credits seem to only credit Shatner and oddly enough the French cast.
  • Another dub does supposedly exist as there is one English trailer that features a completely different set of voices.[1]
