The Tower (Korean: 타워) is a South Korean disaster thriller film directed by Kim Ji-hoon. It was released in South Korean theaters on December 25, 2012 and was released in the United States on January 11, 2013. The plot centres around lee dae-ho the manager of the infamous twin sky scraper complex tower sky in Seoul. One day a gust of wind causes a helicopter to crash into the right tower of the complex. And destroy the bridge connecting the two towers. The mayor of Seoul orders firefighters to detonate a bomb to demolish the right tower to prevent it from falling onto the left tower. In the end the building is demolished and tower sky is left with only one skyscraper.
