The Secret of the Seal, originally known as Tottoi (トトイ) is a 1992 anime film produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Norifumi Kiyozumi.
In 2001, the English dub was included as part of Anime Eikawa, a Japan-only series of learning aids for the PlayStation 2. The same series also includes The Adventures of Manxmouse and The Story of Fifteen Boys.
Synopsis
After his mother's death, Antonio (nicknamed "Tottòi" in Sardinian) and his father move to Sardinia, where Tottòi's father grew up as a boy. Tottòi's adventures begin when he sees a monk seal, despite the local belief that they died out long ago.
