The Quintessential Quintuplets

The Quintessential Quintuplets (五等分の花嫁 Gotōbun no Hanayome) is an anime based on the manga series of the same name by Negi Haruba.

The series first season premiered on January 10 to March 28, 2019. A second season was announced in a special event for the first season on May 5, 2019. Kaori is replacing Satoshi Kuwabara as the director of the season, and Keiichirō Ōchi is returning to write the scripts. Bilbury Animation Studios produced this season. It was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2020, but due to issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the anime aired from January 8 to March 26, 2021.

Synopsis

Fūtaro Uesugi is a second year high-school boy who managed to land a favorable part-time job to be a private tutor.

The student he is supposed to teach is a new transfer student in his class named Itsuki Nakano, but unfortunately, she had a bad impression to him. Fūtaro tries to get closer to Itsuki, but he got overwhelmed by four girls around her...
