The Legend of Snow White (白雪姫の伝説 Shirayuki Hime no Densetsu) is an anime series produced by Tatsunoko Productions and based on the European fairy tale of the same name. Directed by Tsuneo Ninomiya and using a screenplay written by Jinzō Toriumi, the series premiered on NHK on 6 April 1994 and ran for 52 episodes until its conclusion on 29 March 1995.

Dubbing History[]

The series is known to have two different dubs with very little known about either dub. The first dub was made in 1990's for the UK market using British voice actors by Village Productions. Another dub was commissioned by Mondo TV in the early 2000's utilizing American voice actors. The first 14 episodes feature an unknown voice cast, while after the 15th, the voice cast changes to New York-based dubbing talent regularly heard in anime dubbing. This dub is available from Mondo TV on YouTube and streaming on Amazon Prime.
