The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague is a 2023 anime series based on the fantasy and romantic comedy manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Miyuki Tonogaya. It started serialization in Square Enix's Gangan Pixiv's magazine on July 12, 2019.

The anime series was announced on June 21, 2022.^[1] It was animated by both Zero-G and Liber, directed by Mankyū, written by Tomoko Konparu, composed by Ruka Kawada, and it premiered in Japan from January 4, 2023 to March 22, 2023, consisting of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on January 24, 2023.^[2]^[3]

Synopsis

Himuro is a descendant of yuki-onnas living in modern times and a newbie office worker. When he gets emotionally overwhelmed, he ends up causing blizzards or starts building snowmen and igloos. Whenever his secret romantic feelings for his unique yet kind coworker Fuyutsuki intensify, he sometimes ends up freezing those around him. Then, there's Fuyutsuki. Everyone always sees her as the cool type, but Fuyutsuki is actually also pretty curious about her mysterious coworker, Himuro.
