The Horror of Blackwood Castle is a 1968 West German Eurocrime film directed by Alfred Vohrer. The film is part of a successful series of films based on the works by Edgar Wallace.

Synopsis

The owner of Blackwood Castle, Captain Wilson, has died and his daughter Jane arrives to take up her inheritance. Mysterious things soon begin to happen: Jane is asked to sign obscure documents, strange visitors appear who seem to be looking for something, and a sinister, bloodthirsty dog hunts people at night. Jane calls Sir John from Scotland Yard for help, and he realizes that the dead have a secret in common.
