It was produced by Tokyo Movie & Asahi Broadcasting and aired on ABC, TBS and other JNN affiliates from October 7, 1972, to September 28, 1974.

Synopsis

The story revolves around a frog named Pyonkichi getting crushed by a middle schooler named Hiroshi, after he trips over a rock and squashes him. However, Pyonkichi is reborn as an imprint on the front of Hiroshi's shirt and now gives him advice and commentary on his life.

Dubbing History[]

A Hong Kong-produced English dub aired on Pogo in the early 2010s[1]. It also possibly changed all the characters' names. So far, the only known voice actors in the dub are Russell Wait, Muriel Hofmann [2] Lili Troncale[3]. The dubbing studio is currently unknown, but it's possible it was dubbed by either Red Angel Media or Omni Productions.
