The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (時をかける少女 Toki wo kakeru shōjo) is a Japanese-animated science fiction romance film directed by Mamoru Hosoda and written by Satoko Okudera, and based on the novel of the same name by Yasutaka Tsutsui published in 1967. The film was produced by Madhouse and distributed by Kadokawa Herald Pictures.
