The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made is a 2021 anime series based on the novel series written by Miku. It was first published in January of 2014. The light novel version of the series was illustrated by U35, and was serialized from September 30, 2014 to December 28, 2022, with a total of 15 volumes.
The anime series was announced on January 28, 2021[1]. Both seasons were animated by Hotline, while the first season by Yoshiaki Okumura, and the second seasons by Shige Fukase. It premiered the first season in Japan from October 5, 2021 to December 21, 2021, consisting of 12 episodes. The second season was announced on April 1, 2022, and later premiered from January 14, 2023 to April 1, 2023, consisting of 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll licensed and produced an English dub of the series, which premiered on their streaming service on May 5, 2022[2][3]. The second seasons English Dub premiered on January 27, 2023[4].
