The Fairly OddParents is an American animated television series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. The series originally aired as a mini-series of 7-minute shorts on the Oh Yeah! Cartoons showcase. At least 10 of these shorts were produced before being picked up as an official series. These shorts are often referred to as Season 0.
Background[]
Mary Kay Bergman was the original voice for Timmy Turner in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts, following Bergman's passing, however, she was replaced by Tara Strong for the official series. During the first season's run, most of the original shorts were repackaged into three-segmented episodes with Tara Strong redubbing Timmy to keep consistency with the regular series.
