The Executioner and Her Way of Life (処刑少女の生きる道, Shokei Shōjo no Bājin Rōdo) is a 2022 anime series based on the light novel series with the same name written by Mato Sato and illustrated by Nilitsu. It was published by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint from July of 2019 to March 2025. The manga version of the series was illustrated by Ryo Mitsuya and was serialized in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine from June 5, 2020 to April 19, 2024, with a total of 7 volumes.
The anime series was announced during the "GA Fes 2021" event livestream on January 31, 2021.[1] It was animated by J.C.Staff, directed by Yoshiki Kawasaki, series composition by Shōgo Yasukawa, music composition by Michiru, and it premiered in Japan from April 2, 2022 to June 18, 2022, consisting of 12 episodes.
Sentai Filmworks licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered as a SimulDub on HIDIVE's streaming service on May 20, 2022.[2][3] The Blu-ray of the series was released on July 4, 2023.
