Terkel in Trouble (Terkel I Knibe) also known as The Trouble with Terkel, is a 2004 Danish adult animated film based on the 2001 comedy album Arne fortæller... Terkel i knibe by Anders Matthesen.

Dubbing History[]
It's worth nothing that unlike the Danish version of Terkel, which had Anders Matthesen doing almost all the voices, both English dubs featured multiple voice actors in various roles instead.
The film was first dubbed into English by Anvil Studios for Magic Light Pictures and Eureka Entertainment in 2006. This dub featured well-known British actors and comedians, including Adrian Edmondson, Bill Bailey, Olivia Colman, and Toby Stephens. Many of the characters had new names, with Arne being renamed Barry, Sten being renamed Nigel, and Gunnar being renamed Justin, and the dialogue and songs were rewritten in order to fit British slang, with the song Fuck Off and Die being renamed to Piss Off and Die, likely in an attempt to reduce the crass language in the title.
In 2009, the film's North American rights were bought by Indican Pictures, and a new English dub was created. Despite Indican releasing the trailer for the dub in 2010, it wouldn't see a release until 2017. Only a handful of the actors, Eve Mauro, Stephen Ji, Jake Goldman, Vanessa Gomez, Shark Firestone, Chad Ridgely and Chris Tergliafera, were actual actors, with most of the cast consisting of people who were either one-time actors or had no other acting roles besides the film. Rhune Kincaid performed the songs Mr. Cool and Fuck Off and Die for the American version, whilst Frankie Fuentes "Fadeless" performed Paranoia. The dub also utilizes the same names as the British dub, but renames Justin to "Dick Balsac", Joanna to "Joanne", Fiona to "Lucy", Osprey to "Marcus", and Ho to "Jezebel."
Whilst the British dub received mixed reviews, the American dub has been criticized by fans of the film due to its poor voice acting/lip syncing, as well as it's questionable changes in the writing, such as added sexual jokes and other strange edits, such as in the end credits, which feature an alternate dub of Terkel calling Uncle Stewart, along with Terkel arguing with Barry whilst the credits roll.

- Toby Stephens is credited in the US dub for voicing Justin, despite his character being renamed and redubbed.
- The rap song Terkel sings, Look at Yourself, is left undubbed in the American version as a joke, with there even being a caption reading "And now, a rap song you totally won't understand" appearing when the song starts.
- Despite Chad Ridgely providing Uncle Stewart's singing voice in the American version, the credits instead say TBD for performing Uncle Stewart.
- Along with the film, the UK release also dubbed some Bonus Material, such as a 6-minute short involving the characters auditioning for the film, two deleted clips with Fiona, and a 1-minute clip in which Terkel interacts with Anders Matthesen himself in the recording booth.
