Tamagotchi! (たまごっち！Tamagotchi!) is an anime series produced by OLM Incorporated and Bandai Visual based on the Tamagotchi line of toys. It is the first in a series of four anime based on the franchise.
Synopsis
The anime is slice-of-life and focuses on Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi's daily lives with their Tama-Friends. Some seasons focus on subplots such as the Kuchipatchi of Truth and the Melody Violin.
About a year after the anime originally premiered in Japan, an English dub premiered in November 2010 in Australia. However, only 26 episodes were dubbed, even though they claimed to be showing more season 2 episodes. Thus, those same episodes were put on repeat for 4 years before being taken off the air to make room for Animaniacs.
