Sonny Boy is a 2021 original anime series produced by Madhouse and directed by Shingo Natsume. It aired in Japan from July 16 to October 1, 2021, consisting of twelve episodes. The English dub of the series was produced by FUNimation Entertainment.

Synopsis The story focuses on 36 students. On August 16, in the middle of a seemingly endless summer vacation, high school third-year student Nagara, mysterious transfer student Nozomi, and classmates Mizuho and Asakaze are suddenly transported from their quiet everyday life to a school a drifts into an alternative dimension. They must survive with the superpowers that have awakened within them.
