Show Time! is a 2021 anime series based on the manga with the same name written and illustrated by Mai Kirikiri.

The anime was animated by Rabbit Gate, produced by AnimeFesta, directed by Saburou Miura, and it aired the first season in Japan from October 3, 2021 to November 21, 2021, consisting of 8 episodes. The second season aired from January 8, 2023 to March 12, 2023, consisting of 8 episodes. The anime premiered with both an On-Air Version for Tokyo-MX & YouTube, and a Premium Version for AnimeFesta in Japan.

Ascendent Animation licensed the series and produced an English Dub, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on December 22, 2022.[1][2] The second season's English Dub was anounced on October 4, 2023,[3] and it premiered on March 14, 2024.[4] Coolmic streamed the uncensored dub on their streaming service on December 25, 2024.

The Blu-ray for Season 1 was released on January 17, 2023, and Season 2 was released on October 1, 2024.

Synopsis

After the passing of Shoji’s wife, “The Sing Along! Show” became a crux of healing for him and his young daughter Kana. After a chance meeting with the show’s beautiful singing starlet, Minami, Shoji tries to start up a relationship—but is this single father ready to handle the realities of the dating a TV personality? And can Minami ever find love working in an industry that requires her to keep up a pure and innocent appearance?
