Shaman King (stylized as SHAMAN KING) is the second anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Takei's manga of same name. The anime is directed by Jouji Furuta at animation studio Bridge. The series aired from April 1, 2021, until April 21, 2022 in Japan. Netflix acquired the series in March 2021 and started to air Part 1 on their streaming service on August 9, 2021. Part 2 was released on December 9, 2021, Part 3 was released on January 13, 2022, while Part 4 was released on May 26, 2022.
The series was first announced with a promotional video released on June 11, 2020, and an update to the official website. It adapts the 35 volumes of the manga's complete edition and provides the canonical ending of the manga.
