Shadow World is a film version of the 1976 anime series UFO Senshi Daiapolon (ＵＦＯ戦士ダイアポロン), which combines 5 episodes of the series. The setting was changed to California and the names of the protagonists were changed to American ones, although some of the villains kept their names. The movie was edited and adapted by 3B Productions, and released on video in 1986.
