Roger Browne (April 13, 1930 – October 11, 2024) was an American actor, voice artist and physical therapist.

Biography[]

Roger Browne was born in 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally training to be a pilot in the United States Air Force, he left the military due to air sickness.

While studying acting, he worked as a physical therapist, where he accepted an offer by one of his clients to accompany him to Europe. There, he starred in several sword-and-sandal films, like Vulcan, Son of Giove and Venus Against the Son of Hercules. He also starred alongside Jayne Mansfield in It Happened in Athens.

During his career in dubbing, he was the president of the English Language Dubbers Association (ELDA). One of the actors that he dubbed regularly was Terence Hill, whom he voiced for 8 movies, before Hill took over his own dubbing duties.

During his later years, he was a regular guest on Elders React, one of the Fine Brothers reaction formats.
