Ringing Bell (チリンの鈴 Chirin no suzu) is a 1978 Sanrio animated film directed by Masami Hata, adapted from the picture book by Takashi Yanase (creator of Anpanman). An English dub was released to video in the 1980s, where it gained fame as a cult film due to its dark, depressing qualities, largely untouched in the dubbed version.
