Richard "Rick" Jones (born July 26, 1957) is a Canadian voice actor, voice director, writer, content developer and comedian. Since 1983, he's worked with Fox, Disney, Universal, Hanna-Barbera, Alphanim, Cinar and Nelvana. Jones has been nominated for a Gemini Award twice in 1988 and 2003. He is also best known for the voice of Sidekick from The Raccoons, Tenderheart Bear, Good Luck Bear, and Birthday Bear from two Care Bears TV specials, Yum from Rupert, No Feet from Little Bear, and others.
Biography[]
During his early years, Rick obtained an undergrad in biology. Then, when he was working on a geology thesis, a friend from Carleton University working at the school radio station asked him to do a voice for an ad. Rick dropped everything then and allowed his voice acting career to take off.
