Re:Monster is a 2024 anime series based on the novel series with the same name written by Kogitsune Kanekiru. It was serialized and published online by Shōsetsuka ni Narō from May of 2011 to 2018. The light novel version was illustrated by Yamaada, and it was serialized and published by AlphaPolis from August 7, 2012 to August 3, 2017, with a total of 9 volumes.

The anime series was announced on September 19, 2023.^[1] It was animated by Studio Deen, directed by Takayuki Inagaki, and aired in Japan from April 1, 2024 to June 21, 2024, consisting of 12 episodes.

The second season was announced on September 25, 2025.^[2]

Crunchyroll streamed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on the same day as release on their streaming service on April 1, 2024.^[3]^[4]

Synopsis
After meeting an untimely death, Tomokui Kanata is reincarnated as a lowly goblin, but he’s worked up a monstrous appetite. Thanks to his new ability that allows him to grow stronger the more he feeds, his feeble status quickly changes, and he rises to become the goblin leader. With a mix of his past memories, new body, and strong stomach, he’s taking a bite out of this new fantastical world!
