Pumpkin Scissors is an anime television series based on the manga series by Ryotaro Iwanaga. It began in July of 2002 in Kodansha's Magazine Great magazine from 2002 to 2006, and then transferred to the Monthly Shōnen Magazine magazine in 2006 where it resides its serialization to this day.
It was animated by Gonzo and AIC, directed by Katsuhito Akiyama, and aired in Japan between October 2, 2006 and March 19, 2007, consisting of 24 episodes. The series was released in North America by ADV Films and later FUNimation Entertainment between October 23, 2007 and December 26, 2008.
