Prison School (監獄学園, Purizun Sukūru) is a 2015 anime series of the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Akkra Hiramoto. It was serialized and published in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine under their Young Magazine KC imprint from February 7, 2011 to December 25, 2017, with a total 28 volumes.

The anime series was announced on August 4, 2014. It was animated by J.C. Staff, directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and it premiered in Japan from July 11, 2015 to September 26, 2015, consisting of 12 episodes.

Funimation licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on their FunimationNow streaming service on August 12, 2015, and ran until October 28, 2015.

Synopsis Hachimitsu Academy, a prestigious, historically all-girls school, has finally become co-ed. Average teen, Kiyoshi, is one of five boys to enroll. What he doesn’t know is that the school is clandestinely ruled by an Underground Student Council of ruthless, cruel, totally hot female students! And when the boys get caught peeping, they’re sent to the school’s prison, which is run by the brutally seductive warden, who also happens to be the VP of the Underground Student Council. After the boys are forced endure manual labor, whips, and chains, they’ll be left wishing they were locked up with actual criminals!
