Dubbing History[]
In 2005, an North American dub of Peppa Pig was first shown on Cartoon Network in the U.S. as a part of the short-lived preschool programming block known as Tickle-U and on Teletoon in Canada. Peppa Pig was first aired on Teletoon in Canada in 2005 before moving to Treehouse TV on March 11, 2011.
Tickle-U only lasted two and a half years, and the series would later rerun on Noggin in December 2007 and January 2008, but with the original British dub. The series currently airs on the Nick Jr. channel in the U.S. as well as Treehouse TV in Canada since 2011, but like Noggin, it aired the original British dub.
The dub was recorded by Chrom Dubbing Studios in Miami, Florida.[1] It is unknown how many seasons were dubbed, but seeing as how Emily Elephant and Richard Rabbit both have confirmed American actors, it is very likely that at least two seasons have been dubbed.
