Patlabor: The New Files is a sixteen episode OVA series that were released in Japan between November 22, 1990 to June 6, 1992. The New Files serves as a follow-up to the original Patlabor TV series, with various episodes that take pace in between and after the series. Central Park Media licensed the OVAs and dubbed four episodes, before releasing the rest of the episodes subtitled only as a result of poor sales.
