Additional Voices[]

Notes[]

  • The Naruto series is the longest running union dub to date.
  • Quinton Flynn usually voices both Iruka Umino's adult and childhood selves, but for Iruka's flashback during his confession to Naruto in Episode 1, Kate Higgins does the laughter for young Iruka after he falls into the stream.
  • Saffron Henderson voices Kurenai Yūhi in her first appearance in Episode 3 for the edited TV dub. However, her lines are redubbed by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn in the uncut DVD version for consistency. Also in Episode 3, Kiba Inuzuka's snicker was performed by Doug Erholtz instead of Kyle Hebert who would voice the character from the Chūnin Exams onwards. Unlike with Kurenai, Kiba was not redubbed for the uncut version.
  • Saffron Henderson voices Mebuki Haruno, Sakura's unseen mother, in Episodes 3 and 55. Kate Higgins voices her in Episode 83 in addition to her eventual full appearance in Shippūden, as Henderson had returned to Vancouver by this point.
  • Inari and Tsunami were voiced by Mona Marshall and Cindy Robinson in the Land of Waves arc. For their cameo in the Guy and Lee imposters episode, their exclamations were done by Kate Higgins and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
  • Susan Dalian voiced young Haku along with his older self in Episode 12 but in Episode 14 Mona Marshall did the voice before Michelle Ruff would replace Marshall in the longer flashback in Episode 17. In Kimimaro's flashback during Episode 126, young Haku was recast again with Kate Higgins.
  • Sam Riegel and Dan Woren voiced Zōri and Waraji respectively in Episode 10 for one line a piece. During their more prominent appearance in Episode 13, they are voiced by David Rasner and Wally Wingert.
  • Sam Riegel voiced Shino Aburame in Episodes 23-24 (and his confused grunt in Episode 27) but Derek Stephen Prince replaced Riegel in the role from Episode 34 onwards. Ironically, Riegel was also voicing Zaku Abumi at the time who fights against Shino in the Third Chūnin Exam preliminaries.
  • Henry Dittman voices Kabuto Yakushi except in Episode 135 where Kirk Thornton fills in.
  • Richard Cansino usually provides Izumo Kamizuki's voice except in Episode 25 where Quinton Flynn substituted for him.
  • Stephen Apostolina voices Tonbo Tobitake in Episode 24 but Bob Joles takes over in Episode 146.
  • Julianne Buescher voiced Anko Mitarashi in the Chūnin Exams arc plus her cameos in the Invasion of the Leaf arc and the Curry of Life filler arc. Laura Bailey would replace Buescher as Anko in the Land of the Sea filler arc due to the latter's unavailability.
  • Skip Stellrecht voices Itachi Uchiha in Sasuke's recollection of him in Episodes 29-30 but from his actual debut in Episode 80 onward he is voiced by Crispin Freeman.
  • Michael Greco mainly voices Iwashi Tatami except in Episode 146 where Steve Kramer filled in.
  • Danielle Judovits is Ayame's usual voice except in Episodes 79 and 101 where Kate Higgins filled in due to Judovits' unavailability.
  • Richard Cansino voices medical ninja Iyashi during his appearance after Sasuke's preliminary match, but his appearance in the Mizuki Strikes Back filler arc is done by Steve Blum.
  • Grant George voiced Mitate in his first appearance after Lee and Gaara's bout, with Dave Wittenberg doubling a line for him, but his later outings during the Mizuki Strikes Back and Menma filler arcs were done by Sam Riegel and Kyle Hebert respectively.
  • Stephanie Sheh is the usual voice for Naruto's Sexy Jutsu but for Episodes 53-55 Jeannie Elias provided the voice. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn would voice "Sexy" Naruto in Episode 177.
  • Jeannie Elias voices Yūgao Uzuki in Episode 54 but in Episodes 79-80 Susan Dalian provided her voice.
  • Mary Elizabeth McGlynn primarily voices Koharu Utatane except in Episode 200 where Wendee Lee substituted.
  • Kate Higgins voices Kōji in the Chūnin Exams arc and the Ninja Dropouts filler arc, but his appearances in the Curry of Life and Trap Master filler arcs were done by Barbara Goodson and Steve Blum respectively
  • Kate Higgins voiced Matsuri (the Leaf Academy student, not the Sand Village's) in the Chūnin Exams arc but by Colleen O'Shaughnessey in the Curry of Life filler arc and by Megan Hollingshead in the Trap Master filler.
  • Quinton Flynn voices Daichi in most of his appearances except in the Trap Master filler arc where Derek Stephen Prince substituted. Stephanie Sheh also doubled a couple lines as Daichi in Episode 199 of that arc.
  • Jeannie Elias voiced Nobori in the Chūnin Exams arc but by Dave Wittenberg in the Search for Tsunade arc, by Liam O'Brien in the Curry of Life filler arc, and finally by Michael Yurchak in the Trap Master filler arc.
  • Kate Higgins voiced Futaba in the Chūnin Exams arc but Colleen O'Shaughnessey voiced her in the Curry of Life filler arc.
  • Steve Blum voices Kanpō in the Chūnin Exams arc and the Trap Master filler arc but his appearance at the end of the Mizuki Strikes Back arc was voiced by Bob Joles.
  • John DeMita doubled a line for Raidō Namiashi in Episode 65 in place of his usual actor, Patrick Seitz.
  • Michael Sorich is normally Jirōbō's voice actor but in Episode 127 in Kimimaro's flashback Liam O'Brien voiced the former's grunts after his defeat to the latter.
  • Kirk Thornton voices Zō, the ANBU Captain, in the Invasion of the Leaf storyline but is replaced by Lex Lang during his appearance in the Trap Master filler arc. This was likely due to Thornton already voicing Gennō, the main villain of the latter arc.
  • Skip Stellrecht voiced Shinobu Mibu in episode 68 but in episode 73 he is voiced by Michael McConnohie.
  • Colleen O'Shaughnessey voices Tsume Inuzuka in her cameo during Episode 79 but is voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn in Kiba's flashback during Episode 121.
  • Michael McConnohie voices Kisame Hoshigaki in his appearance at the end of Episode 80 but in Episode 81 and onward, Kirk Thornton becomes the permanent voice of the character.
  • Wally Wingert voices Fugaku Uchiha in Episode 84 before Doug Stone takes over from Episode 129 onward.
  • Quinton Flynn voices Dengaku, a food vendor that hosts Jiraiya and Tsunade twice, in Episode 91. In Episode 92, he is voiced by Steve Kramer.
  • Mari Devon voices Katsuyu in Episode 96 but Devon was unavailable for Katsuyu's return in Episode 161, so Mary Elizabeth McGlynn filled in.
  • Dan Woren voiced Omasa for Episodes 97 and 102-104 but for Episodes 105-106 Dave Wittenberg took over.
  • Roger Craig Smith voices academy student Kōta in Episode 129 but is voiced by Brian Beacock in Episode 131.
    • On that note, his unnamed friend was voiced by Kari Wahlgren in the former-mentioned episode but by Troy Baker in the latter episode.
  • Steve Staley voices Kitō in Episode 135 but Kirk Thornton replaces him in Episode 147.
  • Cindy Robinson voices Kotohime Fūma in Episode 139 but her saying goodbye to Jiraiya in Episode 141 is done by Wendee Lee.
  • Kirsten Potter is Natsuhi's regular speaking voice, but her singing voice is performed by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
