Mysteria Friends, formerly Rage of Bahamut: Manaria Friends, is a 2019 anime series based on the manga series with the same name written and illustrated by Kenji Mizuda. It was serialized and published in Cygames' Cycomi Seinen magazine from May 8, 2016 to November 26, 2017, totalling in 2 volumes.
The anime series was initially set to premiere on April 1, 2016, but on March 8, 2016, it was announced that the series would be postponed and rescheduled to January 2019. It was animated CygamesPictures, directed by Hideki Okamoto, and premiered in Japan from January 20, 2019 to March 24, 2019, consisting of 10 episodes.
Sentai Filmworks licensed and produced an English of the series, which premiered on HIDIVE on April 21, 2019. They also released the Blu-Ray of the series on March 10, 2020.
Synopsis
Mysteria Academy is a prestigious magic school that teaches magic without discrimination to the three factions (men, gods, demons), who usually are engaged in battle with each other. Two of the academy's students are Anne, a princess and honor student, and Grea, a princess born from a dragon and a human.
