Notes[]

  • The first episode is skipped due to copyright issues, and Viz had no way of gaining the rights to it to create an English adaptation. This leads the dub to count the second episode as "Episode 1", and a line change in the dub of that episode references the legal issue that sealed the original series premiere (with Choromatsu asking if they wanted to be sued again).
  • Christopher Niosi was announced to voice Choromatsu in 2018 and recorded dialogue for the character. However, due to a string of scandals in July of 2019, he was replaced by Sean Chiplock before the dub was released.
  • Patrick Seitz was set to voice direct the series, but due to his scheduling on directing Fire Emblem: Three Houses, he recommended Christopher Bevins to take his place as voice director and lead scriptwriter.
    • However, Seitz did voice direct the first 4 episodes (which would start with episode 2) before his departure.
