Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun (月刊少女野崎くん, Gekkan Shōjo Nozaki-kun) is a 2014 anime adaption of the four-panel manga comic of the same name, written and illustrated by Izumi Tsubaki. The anime was produced by Dogakobo and directed by Mitsue Yamazaki.
The anime began airing on July 6th, 2014 on TV Tokyo, and ended on September 21, 2014. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for Blu-Ray and DVD with an English dub and released it on March 29, 2016.
Synopsis
Chiyo Sakura confesses her feelings to her schoolmate Nozaki. Due to a misunderstanding, Nozaki thinks Chiyo is just a fan. She then discovers Nozaki's other identity; a shōjo manga artist. As she gets closer to Nozaki, she befriends Nozaki's quirky acquaintances who assist him and serve as inspirations for his manga.
