Biography[]
Graduated from Osaka Prefectural Senyo High School and Hokkaido University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Synthetic Chemistry, he passed the exam to become an actor, but after a year of membership, he was rejected in the evaluation. He was invited by a fellow Bungakuza student to move to the Subaru Theater Company. While performing on stage, he saw Akira Kume in the same theater company and aspired to become a voice actor.
As a voice actor, he made his debut in the 1985 American film My Science Project in the Japanese dub of the Bandai version.
He made his debut in a special effects film in 2018 as Dogranio Yabun in the 42nd Super Sentai series, "Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger".
He is friends with Rikiya Koyama, who also plays Keanu Reeves, and in the radio CD "TV Anime "Blood Blockade Battlefront & BEYOND" Shout Out the Name of the Technique Before Punching Radio Vol. 2", there was a joke about the fact that they both dub for Keanu.
