Maya the Bee is a computer-animated comedy television series produced by Studio 100 Animation in association with ZDF, TF1 and ABC. It is based on the character Maya the Bee introduced in 1912. This is the second animated adaptation focused on the character, after the anime Maya the Bee that aired in the 1970s.
Dubbing History[]
The series' first season was originally dubbed in Vancouver, Canada in 2012, also receiving a Canadian content credit with the Province of British Columbia Production Services. When the second season premiered in 2017, the dubbing production was moved to Titrafilm in Miami, Florida; likely due to the high cost of dubbing in Vancouver and the five-year gap between seasons. While the voice cast is credited, very few of which actor voices who is known.
