Masquerade (OVA)

Masquerade (御先祖賛江, Gozenso San'e) is a four episode adult OVA series animated by AIC and produced by Beam Entertainment. It was directed by Yusuke Yamamoto, with scripts written by Masaki Kajishima and Ryota Yamaguchi. Kajishima also provided the character design and scenario. The OVA was released in four volumes from September 25, 1998 to March 25, 1999. Central Park Media released the anime under their Anime 18 label in 2000 on DVD and VHS. Following CPM's closure in 2009, Media Blasters later re-released the series in 2014 under the Kitty label.

Synopsis

Gen's family has a secret that everyone would like to know, the key to immortality -- although it's somehow connected to a strange curse linked to the untimely deaths of many of his relatives. An American grad student has been studying him and his family, but Gen has a mystery of his own to solve: who is the mysterious beauty haunting his dreams? And why has he suddenly started losing control of his desires?
