Little Lulu (リトル・ルルとちっちゃい仲間 Little Lulu to Chicchai Nakamatachi) is a 1976-1977 anime produced by Nippon Animation, based on the comics by Marjorie Henderson Buell and John Stanley.
Dubbing History[]
There were two dubs of this series produced. The first one was made by ZIV International and was released on VHS in the late 70s and early 80s. The soundtrack was replaced by an entirely new one made by Mark Mercury. Only six episodes or so of this dub had a home video release.
The second was produced by Harmony Gold in 1985 at Intersound, using their regular cast of actors. Strangely, Mark Mercury's soundtrack for the ZIV dub was kept. There is no record of this version ever airing in English; the only evidence of its existence is two episodes with a Russian overdub.
