Kurokami: The Animation is an anime series based off of the Korean manga Black God by Lim Dall-young and Park Sung-woo. Produced by Sunrise, the show aired in both Japan and the United States on January 8, 2009 running for 24 episodes.
Dubbing History[]
Kurokami is very notable for being the first ever anime simuldub produced with the show's English dub airing on the exact same day as the Japanese broadcast. Much info about the dub includes how they had to work with only the line drawings at various points and how much of a challenge it was to make the simuldub. It aired on an obscure television network called ImaginAsian which launched on August 30, 2004 and was dissolved in 2011.
