Kiteretsu Encyclopedia (キテレツ大百科) (Also known as just Kiteretsu) is a manga series by duo Fujiko Fujio which ran in the children's magazine Kodomo no Hikari from April 1974 to July 1977. The manga was later made into a 331-episode anime television series which ran on Fuji TV from March 27, 1988 to June 9, 1996. An English dub of the anime aired in India on Cartoon Network & Pogo.

Synopsis The series is the story of a scientific inventor boy genius named Kiteretsu, descendant of a great inventor named D. Kiteretsu, who has built a companion robot named Korosuke. He frequently travels in time with his friends and Korosuke in the time machine he built, he has friends such as Miyoko, a girl in his neighborhood who is his love interest, Buta Gorilla (Kumada Kaoru), a typical neighborhood bully and his friend, Tongari, who both often antagonize Korosuke (though they are in grade school).

Dubbing History

An English dub was made in India for the local feed of Cartoon Network and the Indian children's channel, Pogo in an unknown year but it's most likely 2015. The characters speak English but with Indian accents, similar to the dub of Ninja Hattori.

However, unlike the other Indian English dubs of Fujiko Fujio anime, such as Ninja Hattori & Perman, which both can be found easily online, this one is very rare, and only 2 clips of the dub have been found so far.
