Kirby 3D (星のカービィ〜特別編〜 倒せ!! 甲殻魔獣エビゾウ) is a 2009 8-minute 3D animated short based on Kirby: Right Back at Ya! and is also considered to be episode 101 of the series. The English dub for the short would retain much of the same voice cast from the series. The dub would be released through two volumes in early 2012 on the Nintendo Video program for Nintendo 3DS systems in all regions.

- A few voice actors from the series would not reprise their roles for the short.
- Michael Sinterniklaas replaces Andrew Rannells as Nightmare due to his retirement from dubbing.
- Ted Lewis replaces Maddie Blaustein as Chef Kawasaki due to Blaustein's death in 2008.
- Kayzie Rogers replaces Jim Napolitano as Iro due to his retirement from dubbing, with a currently unknown voice actor also replacing him as Kabu.
