Biography[]

When he was in the second or third grade of elementary school, his two older sisters liked anime and both said they wanted to be voice actors, so he learned about the profession of voice acting. However, when he was in elementary school, he stopped watching anime because he thought it was something for kids to watch, so he didn't want to become a voice actor, but instead wanted to be a baseball player or a police officer.

When he was in junior high school, he happened to find an anime magazine stored in his sister's room and was most attracted to the TV anime Super Dimension Fortress Macross because "there were so many interesting works on TV," so he watched the reruns. As a result, he started watching other anime and listening to anime radio.

When he was about 20 years old, he was attending a legal vocational school with the aim of becoming a civil servant. However, in his second year, he was moved up to a higher class because his grades were not very good, and he couldn't keep up with the studies and fit in with the class, so he stopped going to school. It was a difficult time in many ways, but anime was his emotional support, and listening to anime radio made him aspire to be a voice actor, so he looked through the magazine and found the Japan Narration Acting Institute.

At NARA, he progressed through the basic course, main course, and training course, but was eliminated in the third audition in his third year. At first, he thought, "If I fail after three years, I'll quit," but he couldn't give up and continued, eventually passing Arts Vision the following year.
