Synopsis

When a series of animal bodies rotting after a single night start turning up in a remote mountain town, Inugami, a Tokyo detective who specializes in the occult, is called in to investigate. While working on the case, he befriends a strange boy who works in the fields every day instead of going to school. Shunned by his peers and nicknamed "Dorotabo" after a yokai who lives in the mud, he helps Inugami uncover the truth behind the murders, but there are supernatural forces at work, and while Dorotabo is just a nickname, he may don't be the only one. about the boy who is not human.
