Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- (かくりよの宿飯, Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi) is a 2018 anime series based on the light novel series with the same name written by Midori Yūma and illustrated by Laruha. It was published by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint from April 13, 2015 to March 15, 2022, with a total of 12 volumes. The manga version of the series was illustrated by Waco Ioka, and was serialized in Enterbrain's B's Log Comic magazine on April 30, 2016.
The anime series was announced on November 6, 2017.[1] The series overall was animated by Gonzo, written by Tomoko Konparu and music composed by Takurō Iga. The first season directed by Yoshiko Okuda, and it aired originally in Japan from April 2, 2018 to September 24, 2018, consisting of 26 episodes.
The second season was announced on May 1, 2024.[2] The second was animated by Gonzo and Makaria, directed by Joe Yoshizaki, and is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 1, 2025.
FUNimation Entertainment licensed and produced an English dub of the series, which premiered on their FunimationNow streaming service on April 19, 2018.[3][4] Crunchyroll licensed the second season and will produce an English Dub of the series, which will premiere on their streaming service on October 15, 2025.[5][6]
