Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a 2019 anime television series based on the manga with the same name written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka (Oshi no Ko). It was serialized and published in Shueisha's Miracle Jump (May 2015 to January 2016), and Weekly Young Jump (March 2016 to November 2022) magazines from May 19, 2015 to November 2, 2022, with a total of 28 volumes.
The anime series was adapted by A-1 Pictures, and directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama. The first season aired in Japan from January 12, 2019 to March 30, 2019, consisting of 12 episodes. The second season aired from April 11, 2020 to June 27, 2020, consisting of 12 episodes. The third season aired from April 9, 2022 to June 25, 2022, consisting of 13 episodes.

Dubbing History[]
Originally, Kaguya-sama: Love is War was released on Blu-ray and DVD in the United States in 2019 by licensor, Aniplex of America, however, this release was sub-only.
In March 2020, FUNimation Entertainment acquired exclusive streaming rights for the series and began airing an English dub of the second season which premiered on July 25, 2020, while the show's first season remained sub-only. On March 9, 2021, FUNimation later released the dub of the first season, with it produced by Studio Nano.
Despite the movie adaptation, Kaguya-sama: Love is war - The first kiss that never ends, getting a limited theatrical release in the United States, it had only been released sub-only for some time. An English dub for it would eventually be released to Crunchyroll a while afterward.

Trivia[]
- Due to Aaron Dismuke being on vocal healing, Clifford Chapin voiced Miyuki Shirogane in season 3 for broadcast release. Aaron would return to voice the character in The kiss that never ends, and in the later release of season 3 on Blu-ray, redubbed Clifford Chapin's lines as Miyuki Shirogane.
