- Goede's "Philip Bartlett" alias caused confusion on whether or not he was alive, as there was an actor by the name of Philip Bartlett who passed away in 2001. It was only after an investigation by a user named Rosebr10 that it was revealed that the Philip Bartlett who voiced Mewtwo and Dr. Fuji in Pokémon: The First Movie was an alias of Jay Goede, who is in fact still alive.
